Welcome! You have found my birds and I hope they make you feel lighthearted! My mission with illustrating these lovely creatures is to show them in a different light by making them into pop art. While I revere the beauty of the birds and try to render them as realistically as possible, I like to juxtapose them with a brightly coloured background and/or a surprising object. The bird always rules, it is pure nature and celebrated as such. They are super stars, resilient, tough, intelligent, resourceful and beautiful. As an urbanite I also like the idea of bringing them into a modern home where they can add a pop of colour and nothing to distract from the beauty of the bird. I have had an evolution with painting and illustrating birds and the goal is to make them better each time. I am also learning about birds every day. It’s been a very rewarding journey thus far and I’m looking forward to expand the collection.

I am currently selling the birds as prints and soon the wood blocks. The latter will be ready soon. I’ll also be adding new prints and new products like notebooks and t-shirts so please keep checking in!
